Real truths at heart of the Creation stories

Merely reading the "first day" through the "seventh day" has little meaning, and has been called "a constructed creation myth". However, in the Gospels, the Lord Jesus reveals the chronological order of the days of Moses, to where their true meaning is uncovered. Consider the following: A. The Fourth Day of Moses, from Creation Week 1. Covers the period 4.6 Billion BC to 245 Million BC a) Depicts the creation of the (other) celestial bodies B. The fifth day of Moses, from Restoration Week 1 1. Covers the period 245 Million BC to 65 Million BC a) Depicts the creation of "sea monsters" and birds b) Discovered life forms i. ichthyosaurs, mosasaurs, pliosaurs, plesiosaurs, and archaeopteryx C. The sixth day of Moses, from Restoration Week 2 1. Covers the period 65 Million BC to 42 Million BC a) Depicts the creation of herbivores, large animals, and the "remaking" of mankind into God's image b) Discovered life forms i.

Lorenzo is going to community college in Hutchinson, Kan., to play ball.

Dennard has not visited Nebraska, but said Thursday night, "I liked the coaching staff. I liked Coach (Bo) Pelini. I liked Memorial Stadium. I checked it all out on the Internet."

Dennard gives NU 22 commitments. Marvin Sanders, formerly a North Carolina assistant, was the primary recruiter and paid a visit to Dennard Wednesday night.

Ledford said Dennard runs the 40 in 4.4 and has a 36-inch vertical leap.

He also is a point guard on the hoops team and runs sprints on the track team.

On the football field, Ledford moved Dennard from an outside linebacker/strong safety spot to cornerback midway through the junior season. In his first two games at corner, he had five interceptions.

GNU and FSF News for February 2008

For the latest updates see the FSF upcoming events page.

This monthly news summary about the Free Software Foundation and GNU project was distilled down from FSF press releases, blogs, email lists, and website news pages. The idea is to provide a concise summary of FSF/GNU news from the past month for those who don't have the time or interest to find and read all the original news sources within that community. This is a news summary about the FSF but it is not produced by or associated with the FSF in any way.

I'm looking for a volunteer to take over writing this news summary each month. It's a minimal amount of work, taking no more than a few hours per month.

Again thanks for a great summary!, posted 25 Feb 2008 at 18:29 UTC by atai » (Journeyer) I don't think anyone can do as a good job as you...

Durham will have to do it old-fashion way: Earn it

(02-19) 04:00 PST Scottsdale, Ariz. -- Ray Durham claims to have only one black-and-orange T-shirt, and that one is from the professional wrestler John Cena's fashion line.

That is unusual when you consider that Durham is now the longest-tenured Giant in terms of continuous service. Surely, he would have had a closet full of Giants-issue shmata by now, with any number of inspirational slogans.

This year's slogan, though, would be a more pointed and personal one: "Hold the job one more year."

Durham and, to a lesser extent, Rich Aurilia, the longest-serving active Giant in games played, represent the last vestiges of the old guard - the exhaustively maligned old guard. They are the on-field targets for critics of a strategy that lasted too long, while also representing the transitional phase from the Bonds-based economy of the past.

RIGHTS-US: Rendition Victim Appeals Ruling Barring Suit

The head of the RCMP was forced to resign because of the incident. Arar received an official apology and a multi-million-dollar settlement from the Canadian government earlier this year.

Arar's lawyer, David Cole of the Georgetown University Law Centre, underlined the importance of the current appeal. He told IPS, "The Canadians, who provided misinformation about Arar but did not acquiesce in sending him to Syria, have conducted a full investigation, written an 1,100-page report, formally apologised, and awarded Mr. Arar 10 million dollars in damages and legal fees. Meanwhile the United States, the far more culpable actor, maintains that it violated no rights, and that Mr. Arar has no remedy."

Cole is working with the Centre for Constitutional Rights, an advocacy group, in the Arar case.
