Developers move closer to launch of much-anticipated sci-fi game

They play a video game every day, and they take it extremely seriously.

But they're not the guys living in mom's basement. They're the creative team at Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment. In less than a year, the science-fiction universe they're building in an office park in east Mesa will come to life for an eager worldwide audience in Stargate Worlds.

Until then, the team at the Valley's only video-game studio will continue creating new worlds for a franchise that has existed in its fans' minds and on screens big and small for the past 14 years. .

Tim Sauter Looking to Finish Strong Homestead is Last Race for Lester Buildings in NASCAR Tim Sauter and the Green Light Racing team have one race left in 2007 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Season. It has been rollercoaster year for the team with plenty of highs and lows, through it all Sauter stands 16th in the driver standings heading into Friday's Ford 200 at Homestead Miami Speedway.

"I've got mixed emotions about this weekend," Sauter explained. "The energy level at Homestead is always high, you know all kinds of stuff going on both on and off the track which is exciting. On the other hand the uncertainty of where things are headed for next year makes the last race tough. I'm thankful to everyone that we got to run the whole season for Lester Buildings and Green Light Racing."

As the last race approaches, team co-owner Bobby Dotter reflected on the 2007 NCTS season.

Sources: Suns a 'yes' away from acquiring Shaq for Marion

The seemingly improbable pairing of an aging Shaquille O'Neal and the run-and-gun Phoenix Suns is just a final "yes" from the Suns away from happening, according to NBA front-office sources.

Sources told ESPN.com on Tuesday night that the Miami Heat have already agreed to send O'Neal to the Suns in exchange for All-Star forward Shawn Marion and out-of-favor guard Marcus Banks. Miami is simply waiting for Phoenix management to complete a medical examination of O'Neal and formally accept what would rank as one of the most unexpected trades in league history.

"It looks like it's going to happen," said one source close to the situation. "We should know for sure by [Wednesday]."

ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher reported Tuesday night that O'Neal is scheduled to arrive in Phoenix on Wednesday to undergo a physical.

Here is a look back at a few key trades involving the Cleveland Indians over the past 50 years. This is my entry for BCSWeek3. April 17, 1960 - The "Curse" Begins: Few players captured the imagination of a town the way Rocky Colavito did in Cleveland and Tribe fans were stunned on the day that GM Frank Lane traded him to the Detroit Tigers for AL batting champion Harvey Kuenn. Colavito spent four seasons with the Tigers and enjoyed the best year of his career in 1962 when he hit .290 with 45 dingers and 140 RBI. Kuenn spent one uneventful season with the Indians before beinig traded to the Giants. Many still consider the Colavito/Kuenn trade responsible for the ensuing decades of baseball mediocrity in Cleveland. "The Curse of Rocky Colavito" lives on to this very day. Colavito did return to the Tribe in 1965, but his best seasons were behind him and on July 29, 1967 the Indians once again traded "The Rock", this time to the Chicago White Sox.
